The Law of Access, Part Two

”Many advisers make victory sure.” Proverbs 11:14

All of God’s miracles are worked through people.

I have seen the wisdom of God work in the process of advisory meetings. When I was on staff at one of America’s largest churches we had regular department head meetings. The discussion of those meetings rarely related to each department but to the movement and strategy of the church as a whole. It was interesting to see the Wisdom of God manifest in those meetings.

Each week, when I meet with pastors, leaders, or entrepreneurs I tap into that anointing by asking the Holy Spirit to instruct us during our time together. It makes all of the difference in the world. It takes my advise from the reliance on personal experience to the instruction of the Holy Spirit.

  1. Someone knows something that you need to know.
  2. You will either gain wisdom from mentors or from pain.
  3. Ignorance is as destructive as any force on earth. People are destroyed by it.
  4. The key to success is gaining wisdom at the expense of other’s experiences.
  5. I will gladly pay $25 for a book that tells me about someone’s experiences. They paid a much higher price than that.
  6. Your path will never be exactly like someone’s else but you can learn principles from their experience.

The Law of Access

”Make plans by seeking advise.” Proverbs 20:18

Do you have access to the advise that you need?

Some people never venture out toward their destiny because they expect that they will experience “red” lights. I like what Zig Zigler says, ”If you wait until all the lights are “green” before you leave home, you will never get started on your trip to the top.”

Solomon said it best when he stated,”Whoever watches the clouds never has a harvest.”

In order to get started, don’t wait until you all the lights are “green.” Begin the journey by getting the advise that you need.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.” James 1:5
