Senator Grassley's Source
The world system rarely aligns itself in direct opposition of the church. It is to busy or simply oblivious to what happens in the Christian world. Knowing this, I knew that there had to be a source for Senator Grassley to amass the information to hurl such slanderous accusations against six Word of Faith ministries. It turns out to be a man who battles his own insignificance in a world that has rejected his cultish doctrines and vile commentaries.
A disgruntled and jealous spirit can drive a person into delusion. This is the same spirit that forcefully took hold of Saul when he heard the singing of accolades for the young David. This self appointed “Televangelist” watch-dog is guilty of everything that he has accused others of being and doing. Isn’t that the norm? Those who cast the stones are transferring their own sins on those whom they despise.
Satan always looks for someone in the house to use in his attacks. He relies upon his proven strategy called the scheme of the question. Simply by raising the question, implanting suspicion he does damage. The first temptation against man was, “Did God really say?” The temptations against Christ were in the form of questions. The specific questions need not be important, simply applying that there are some accomplishes his goals.
I’ve learned that we must live our lives above reproach. By doing so, we will “silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.” (see 1 Peter 2:15)
The Dallas Observer has an excellent article that exposes this dried up spirit. Before jumping on the band wagon and abandoning our friends read this article.
