Let’s talk about God’s faithfulness.
I recently read an interesting article by Rick Renner concerning God’s faithfulness. He points out the estimate of the Manna that was required to feed the children of Israel. 4500 tons a day! Can you imagine the astounding provision that is provided? Psalm 78:25 says, ”Man did eat angel’s food, he sent them meat to the full.”
Every day for 40 years God established a Law of Reflexive Ministry to deliver Angel food to the doorstep of the camp of Israel.
In my book God’s Currency, I point out that prosperity is having the supply to accomplish your purpose. Certainly, prosperity is more than man’s currency. Prosperity is having enough of God’s provision to fulfill God’s instruction.

”Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.” Colossians 3:23
Your attitude toward your work has a tremendous impact on the promotions that you receive in your career. You should work at the highest level; meaning, that if your work ethic is serving only your immediate supervisor then your future promotions are limited to that person. However, if you serve through that person all the way to the CEO of the company you could be promoted to the highest rank of that company. But what if you serve even higher? What if you serve the Lord in your work?
As Believers, we should approach our jobs as we work directly for the Lord. No matter what happens in your company, or the economy, God will give you a inheritance of reward. By serving at the highest level you take the limits off your career.

Years ago, while having lunch with a mentor, he began to teach me the principle of multiple streams. It was one of the most valuable lessons that I’ve ever learned. Since then I have seen its wisdom lived out in many areas of life.
Solomon said, ”Give portions to seven, yes to eight, for you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.” (Ecclesiastes 11:2)
By diversifying your income and investments, you are able to establish a base that is solid. Most people have yet to learn the value of variety.
Abraham was made rich in ”sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, and camels and donkeys.” (Genesis 24:34)
By establishing the stream of eight in his life, Abraham was able to grow rich in many arenas of life.

”A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters.” Genesis 2:10
The Bible teaches the principle of Multiple Streams. God established a river system in order to have ample supply in the garden. This same principle is repeated in scripture so that the source of supply is balanced regardless of transitional seasons or circumstances beyond our control.
Solomon advised to diversify by giving portions to “eight.” (Ecclesiastes 11:2) Abraham had eight streams of income. Abraham was made rich in sheep, cattle, silver, gold, menservants, maidservants, camels, and donkeys. By having a supply of diversity, Abraham was well able to weather the conditions of change, to survive famines, and to fulfill his destiny.
Jesus taught that the Holy Spirit would give us “rivers” of living water indicating an abundant supply spiritually (John 4 & 7).
As leading financial author and radio host Dave Ramsey advises, ”No one should have a single stock, everyone should invest in mutual funds.” Why? Because invested over time, mutual funds have a better track record and are much safer than single stocks.
This principle should be a foundational law in your life. The old saying is still good advise, ”Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.” The archaic idea of having one source of income, one steady job for a lifetime is over. Our present economy will not support it. We must be entrepreneurial in creating multiple streams.

The Word of God is the source of all increase. It is the teaching of biblical principles that has built the great societies of commerce. The capitalistic principles of the United States is founded on the ideas taught by Solomon’s teaching in Proverbs. Two companies, Chick-fil-A and Hobby Lobby stand out as modern examples of godly principles put into practice to produce massive profits.
